MINERALOGY: The name apophyllite is derived from the Greek apophylliso, meaning "it flakes off", a reference to this class's tendency to flake apart when heated. These minerals are typically found as secondary minerals in vesicles in basalt or other volcanic rocks.

HOW TO USE: These crystals have a unique vibration that can be used in a number of ways. Apophyllite has a strong action to aid spiritual healing on a deep soul level. It is a helpful stone to aid depression, anxiety and stress related issues, as well as skin disorders.
